Uganda, Africa

Uganda was full of surprises. 

This was our first time in Uganda and we see much need for truth in this country.  Idi Amin, the president and military dictator from 1971 - 1979, outlawed Christianity while in power and the underground movement was weak. 
Now the church is rebuilding but there is currently every kind of falsehood and much confusion and distraction.  People are mixing tribal beliefs into the church.

Witchcraft has been mingled with Christianity - a toxic mixture indeed. The people need leaders with truth!  Please pray. We have leaders dedicated to the truth and now we have
met some others who are very impacted by the word. 

This is a country of miracles and instant solutions - so we pray these positive pastors
will have the staying power needed to gain "here a little and there a little" that is
required for spiritual growth.

We have great hope for Uganda for we know our Father has brought us here. 
Everywhere we went the people were interested in the things of God.

We have seen the great need and have taught the Word - we trust that the Holy Spirit will stir the people and that a great work will spring here to release the people from their bondage.
